Anna has worked as a registered Psychologist since 1995, working with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked in schools, hospitals, Early Intervention Centres, Disability Services, and in clinical private practice. She has endorsement in the area of Educational and Developmental Psychology and she is a Board approved Supervisor.
She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi), and a Fellow of the APS College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists (FCEDP).
Anna brings to her practice a non-judgemental, empathic, and collaborative approach. She uses a number of evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Schema Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Play therapy is provided for young children.
Anna’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, work- related stress, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, child and adolescent emotional/ developmental difficulties, parenting issues, student learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD. She provides assessment and therapeutic services for children, adolescents and adults at both the Mooloolaba and Caloundra clinics.
