Michael is an experienced clinician with an array of knowledge from a variety of specialty areas of psychology. Michael has worked with individuals, community groups, government contractors, and multinational organizations to provide psychological problem-solving skills and resilience training.
Michael’s previous work experiences in the mining and construction sector, hospitality management, and specialized sport instruction; give Michael a unique insight and ability to relate to a diverse spectrum of people.
Michael has a passion for supporting people to realize and fulfill their potential and overcome the challenges they face. Michael has a proactive approach his psychological service, with a focus on problem solving and goal setting. Michael’s ideology stems from the belief that while we cannot change our past, we can create a new future through addressing patterns of behaviour and attitudes.
Michael utilizes evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Integrative Therapy.
